Lisa's Baby Shower

Today a few friends and I hosted a baby shower for our dear friend, Lisa. She and her husband, Paul, are expecting their first child and so this afternoon we showered her love, food and gifts. They're having a little girl, Daniella, who is due in February. I'm selfishly excited that they're having a girl because it means lifelong friends for my two girls.

We found a cute, tea room in Brandon at which to host the shower. When we looked at pictures online, we knew this place would be perfect, as it is so pink and girlie. It turned out to be the easiest shower to plan and host. The venue was perfect! It was decorated beautifully, so we didn't have to do much in terms of decorations. The food was delicious! It was great not having to cook anything. So if you're looking for a venue to host a bridal shower or baby shower, be sure to check out Tabitha's Tea Room in Brandon.

Guests arrived around noon and Paul took care of getting Lisa to the shower. You see, the tea room is located near a local restaurant, so Paul told Lisa they'd be going there to watch football. And Lisa bought it! I didn't think Paul would be able to keep such a secret, but he was able to do so! Lisa arrived and was totally surprised! I love surprising people, especially good friends. We spent the afternoon drinking tea, eating yummy treats and showering Lisa and Daniella with gifts.
