I don't have much to say about today, other than I wish all days could be like today. We had nothing planned and had nothing to do... it was great! The house was clean, the errands were completed and we had no where to be. The rest of our weekend will be the same and it will be so nice to sit back, relax and actually enjoy the weekend. If only all weekends could be so laid back and enjoyable.
We relaxed in our pajamas this morning until Bella woke up. Yes, both Ian and I were awake before Bella opened her little eyes for the day. She slept until almost 9am, which is something I could really get used to. Once everyone was showered, dressed and fed, we headed to BJ's to do a little shopping. We actually only went to BJ's with the intention of returning a box of spoiled clementines which I had purchased earlier in the week. We ended up doing a little shopping, but thats okay, because we managed to buy things we actually needed.
After BJ's we headed home for lunch and naps. I'm not sure if Bella fell asleep or not, but I managed to catch a quick nap before we headed to Grandma Ruth's for a visit. We met Grandma Ruth for dinner and visited with her for a bit. After dinner we headed home for some play time and Bella's bed time routine. We now have a sleeping child and we're watching the Broncos v. Patriots game. What a great way to end a very relaxing and laid back day. I am happy to report that we don't have any plans for tomorrow either. There's nothing to be done around the house and there are no errands to be run. We have an entire day to do whatever we want and hopefully that includes watching the Texans v. Ravens game.
Days like today are wonderful and make the weekend truly enjoyable. As Bella would say, "more please!"
Love always,
Ian, Kim, Bella & Baby #2
